Raipur, October 31, 2025: Chhattisgarh is all set to make its Silver Jubilee year (25th Anniversary) a historic one! The state, often called the ‘Rice Bowl of India,’ will celebrate its 25th Rajyotsava (State Formation Day) starting November 1st with unprecedented grandeur and enthusiasm, marking a celebration of its rich culture, progress, and 25 glorious years.

🚀 A New Flight of Development: Major Gifts from PM Modi
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will personally attend the Silver Jubilee ceremony in Raipur, lending immense significance to the event. He is set to bestow several key gifts upon the state:
- Inauguration of the Magnificent New Assembly Building: Built in Naya Raipur, this new complex is a fusion of Chhattisgarh’s democratic spirit, heritage, and modernity. Its inauguration will symbolize a new legislative era for the state.
- Keys of Happiness to 3.51 Lakh Families: Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), approximately 3.51 lakh poor families will simultaneously be handed the keys to their concrete houses. This mass housewarming ceremony is a massive gift of stability and joy to the lives of the poor.
- The Nation’s First ‘Tribal Digital Museum’: The country’s first Tribal Digital Museum will be inaugurated to preserve and connect tribal culture with the digital age. This museum will bring the rich tribal traditions of Bastar, Surguja, and Raigarh to the global stage through Virtual Reality and digital technology.
✨ Festival Highlights: A Grand Confluence of Culture and Art
A five-day mega-event will take place from November 1st to 5th at the Rajyotsava site in Naya Raipur, with the main attraction being a blend of state folk art and modern music.
- Spectacular Cultural Performances: Renowned artists such as Hansraj Raghuwanshi, Aditya Narayan, Bhoomi Trivedi, and Kailash Kher will perform their musical acts.
- Special ‘Surya Kiran Air Show’ Presentation: The Indian Air Force’s ‘Surya Kiran’ team will perform breathtaking aerial stunts, adding a new dimension to the festival and becoming a symbol of Chhattisgarh’s pride for the first time.
- Theme-Based Dome Exhibition: Giant domes set up by the state’s 33 departments will showcase the story of development over the past 25 years, pro-people schemes, and glimpses of future ambitious projects. Massive models from the Water Resources and Agriculture Departments will be a special point of interest.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated: “This Rajyotsava is not just a government event but a festival of identity, self-respect, and progress for Chhattisgarh.
