In a significant boost to anti-Naxal operations in Chhattisgarh, 63 Maoist cadres surrendered before security forces in Dantewada on Friday. The group, which includes 18 women, carried a collective government bounty of ₹1.19 crore. Officials attribute the mass surrender to the success of the ‘Lone Varratu’ and ‘Puna Margam’ rehabilitation campaigns.
