RAIGARH (Roots Alert) — Corporate accountability and grassroots development will take center stage in Chhattisgarh this August, as industry leaders, policymakers, and social innovators converge for the CSR Raigarh Summit 2026.

Scheduled for August 5 at Hotel Shreshta, the day-long conclave aims to draft a practical blueprint for the region’s socio-economic growth. Spearheaded by Jindal Power in partnership with India CSR, the summit operates on a timely and ambitious theme: “CSR for a Viksit Raigarh Region.”

Instead of corporate entities operating in silos, the summit is designed to pool resources and ideas to tackle Raigarh’s most pressing local needs. The agenda is anchored by three core developmental pillars: securing sustainable livelihoods, elevating the quality of education, and advancing water conservation efforts across the district.

Jindal Power, a foundational pillar of the region’s industrial and economic landscape, has long been a driving force behind transformative social development in Raigarh. Through its structured community initiatives, the company continues to champion robust healthcare, rural infrastructure, and skill development programs that have directly uplifted thousands of local households. By co-hosting this summit, Jindal Power reinforces its deep-rooted commitment to sustainable development, aiming to catalyze long-term wealth, equity, and environmental resilience for the entire community.

The push for this localized, impact-driven approach is also being heavily championed by India CSR, the country’s largest media network dedicated to corporate sustainability. Rusen Kumar, the platform’s Founder and Managing Editor, has spent nearly two decades working to shift the national CSR narrative from mere regulatory compliance to genuine community partnership. This upcoming summit reflects that exact ethos bringing boardroom discussions directly to the ground and turning corporate intent into measurable action.

By bringing diverse stakeholders to the same table, organizers hope to spark new partnerships and highlight projects that are already making a difference in the region.

The event will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Organizers are actively calling on regional NGOs, corporate heads, and community leaders to join the dialogue. Registration for speakerships, sponsorships, and general participation is currently open via biz@indiacsr.in
